How It Works?

Our production process will help you to stop worrying about production, and focus more on growing your brand. There are a lot of steps in the production; we ensure to manage the process entire closely.

The Production Process

1.
The Brief /
Moodboard

All projects start with a brief or moodboard. It is used to finalise the format that is representative of the final design’s style and contains information on the aesthetic, colour and direction of the collection. .

2.
Prepare
Tech Packs

Once the design is ready, the tech packs are put together. It is important that everything is accurate and every single detail is included so the manufacturer understands exactly what it is.

3.
Order Sampling
Fabric & Trim

After fabric and trim sourcing, enough yardage for sample making is ordered and used for fit samples. Sample yardage should be the right quality, colour, and pattern of the final design.

Jane
4.
Develop
The Pattern

Pattern development affects the fit, so it needs to be accurate. Finding the right technical support is required as pattern making can be tricky and time-consuming.

Jane
5.
Create &
Prototype

A prototype is a sample with the correct design features, silhouette, proportion, and details. The prototype is made with a substitute fabric that is similar to the actual fabric.

Jane
6.
Create A
Fit Sample

A fit sample is usually made with sample yardage based on the concluded prototype. A fit model will wear the garment to get the right fit and finalise the pattern.

Jane
7.
Select The Final
Sample Collection

Calculate the estimated cost of each design based on prototype production. Styles that do not fit the collection and too expensive to produce are removed.

Jane
8.
Take Orders &
Prepare Production

The sample garments are sent to confirm the orders and calculate quantities for production. All orders are confirmed before production takes place.

Jane
9.
Grade The
Pattern

The pattern maker will grade the pattern across all the sizes offered for the collection.

Jane
10.
Create A PP
Sampling Garment

The PP (Pre-production) sample is made after the order is placed. It is extremely important to be accurate as a reference for bulk production.

Jane
11.
Proceed With
Bulk Production

After the samples are approved, bulk production will start. A production manager will be in charge to oversee the whole production process.

Jane
12.
Implement Quality Control Check

Quality control checks are implemented at all stages of the process. If something does not meet the standards its will not be approved. The earlier quality problems are identified, the less money and time are wasted.
